be quiet! MC1 PRO

I would Highley recommend this water cooler. Was looking for a quite unit and I can confirm that this is very quiet. Installation and assembly is very easy. The only concern I had was on first startup there was a lot of gurgling sounds from the unit. No need to worry as this is normal for the first run. After leaving it to run for an hour or so the gurgling stopped. And have not had any noise from it since The web page did not clarify if this unit comes with the intel LGA 1700 bracket. I can confirm that this unit did come with the new Intel LGA 1700 bracket. I give this unit five stars.

My old H100i pump was getting a bit noisy, I also use my pc with my Hi Fi so silence is important to me. Installing this new BeQuiet Silent Loop 2 has made a big difference to background noise, You can just about hear a very low hum if you focus on it. The temps are also really good so the fans rarely spin up unless you are gaming. Been a great upgade..

This is the first all-in-one water cooler that I've tried. If you run the fans at full speed, it is pretty noisy, and I don't think the fans are exceptional. I've only been running this for a few weeks, but the pump seems silent. It's hard to judge the cooling, as I think the processor I've got is quite hot, but it seems effective.

So, first off, the fans aren't great. At anything but bare minimum speed, they are relatively loud. Replacing them with a pair of Noctua fans yielded a much better result. However, the pump isn't silent either. It's a little bit whiny in normal operation - and then come the air bubbles. I have had mine installed for about a month, and air bubbles get trapped inside the CPU block and they just sound hideous - rattling away. Be Quiet! offer some really dumb solutions - like detaching the water block and waving it around. Who on earth wants to do that every few weeks? I'm going back to air cooling, hopefully this review will save someone being disappointed.

You get what you pay for, this is a beautiful very solid piece of kit and I do not regret the purchase. I did expect the fans to be a bit quieter under load though idle it is inaudible.
