The Piezo lighter broke on my first real use of it at the start of a three day backpacking trip. I tested it at home before leaving and everything worked great, but apparently the ceramic lining on the lighting coil is very fragile. I ran out of matches by the second day and stupidly forgot a lighter so the stove became completely unusable. Had to eat cold dehydrated food the rest of the trip, which kinda ruined the trip experience. Going to return and give it one more shot, but if it breaks again I'm gonna have to switch to something else.

Please MSR, consider making a press that fits and works with the Switch™ Stove System.

Exactly what I needed. It is simple and easy to put together and use. Boils in a reasonable time; great for the price point and very well made.

I've owned many backpacking stoves over the years and I this one is my absolute favorite. Fast boil times, great simmer ability, reasonably windproof. The cork insulating wrap is so much better than the jetfoil neoprene sleeves. The round bottom makes clean up a breeze. Fold out pot supports are very stable for using an other pots. The performance and versatility of this stove can't be beat!

i’m new to backpacking, this set was perfect for me and is easy to use. packs away nicely. there’s room to throw in a couple other small items inside as well.
