Canon Ink MC-10 / 1320B014 Maintenance Unit

I'm a videographer and this lens was great at first. Then slowly, it started having issues with the infinity focus setting. It just wouldn't be sharp enough and it became misaligned, then over time the lens hood started getting loose and now it freely spins around for some reason. I have not dropped this lens or messed with it in any way, and now the base just came off with all screws still intact! This is ridiculous, I know the purchase time is far beyond a return or refund but it's sad that such a lens has failed over time. Its only now that I truly regret this purchase.

The cartridge has not been installed as of yet, but is the correct replacement. The cartridge delivered is as advertised. I would order again.

This lens has been an adventure for me. My first fully manual lens. It looked great right out of the box, instructions are fairly easy to read. Glass looks fantastic, and the lens overall is built like a tank. Learning to use the lens to its full potential is still an ongoing process but then again what isn’t? Using a T scale instead of an F scale is a bit tricky. I bought this lens on the advice of a friend and I am not at all disappointed. All in all it is an excellent addition to the bag of goodies and a truly fun lens to shoot with.
