Pirelli Winter 240 SottoZero Serie II Run Flat

Avoid Pirelli tires! My winter tires lasted about 17,400km (approx. 10,500 miles) and were totally worn - despite only being driven on quality roads and highways. When inquiring about the warranty / refund, I was told that no inspections were being done for a few months. Bad tires. Bad service. Avoid Pirelli.

Bought these for using the car in the winter (They'll never see snow though). Excellent for grip, the acceleration is absolutely amazing. An amazing tire! Drypavement - I ran a 0-60 time of 3.1s with these and my summer tires best was 3.4, this was unheard of! I can't say they handle well, but that is comparing them to my summer tires so I'm sure they do just fine. I can pull 0.78g with my car around a turn I usually get 0.88g with my summers. My only complaint is at about 100km/hr, if I floor it (I have 580 horsepower stock) the car feels like it starts to float - little worrisome, but once I stop accelerating they're fine. I've never taken them past 160km/hr but they're fine at that speed.

Good tires in the wet and dry, quiet and comfortable as far as winter tires go. Not good in deep snow - managed to get stuck several times in just a few inches deep.

I put these tires on a class b W246 and comfortable, and I found them to be a little noisy winter. For a next purchase, I would keep it in mind

I highly recommend this very winter tires. The tire has excellent properties.
