Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus

The land Rover Discovery is a heavy vehicle and driven spiritedly the tyres perform well, they are not performance tyres so dry weather driving on potholed English roads has provided good handling. Wet weather driving inspires confidence with feeling and grip, no obvious break aways or sliding. On gravel/grass/unmade roads the tyres perform above expectations. So far I am very please with the tyres, you do have to pick out the stones that collect in the tread sometimes but that is to be expected.

The Scorpion All Terrain Plus gives me the confidence that I can tackle most terrain and get me out of trouble. The only downside is availability, it is a difficult tyre to get hold off.

To date, in the absence of experience in snow, the wheels are magnificent, the best I have tried, both on highways and roads and on light tracks, very good grip and totally silent and aesthetically very beautiful. So far I think it has been a success

At first I was skeptical that it is also good in the snow, but I am very pleasantly surprised…. It drives very well everywhere… ..???

Far better than anything else I've tried. Comfort, noise, MPG etc
