Michelin Energy Saver+ 175/70R14 84T er kendt som et økonomisk sommerdæk til små og kompakte biler. Tests og brugeranmeldelser fremhæver den meget lave rullemodstand, som tydeligt kan spare brændstof og CO₂. Dækket får også ros for lang levetid og jævnt slid, hvilket gør det økonomisk over tid. På tør vej er greb og bremseafstand mere end tilstrækkelig, og dækket føles sikkert. På våd vej klarer det sig godt, men ikke helt på niveau med de bedste premium konkurrenter, da fokus er mere på økonomi end maksimal vådgreb. Mange sætter pris på komforten og det relativt lave støjniveau. Husk, at det er et rent sommerdæk uden vintergodkendelse, og at styrefornemmelsen kan virke lidt mindre direkte for meget sportslige bilister.

MOT rejected after 7 years of use. Reason: drought cracks up to the canvas in several places. Tires still had 3.6 to 3.8 mm profile. 2 front tires, front wheel drive, 90% highway kms, all cracks on the outer rim. Bizarre.

I didn't notice anything about "Energy Saving". The tire drives quite well, as you would expect from a premium manufacturer, and makes normal noises. After 20,000 km there were still 2x 6 mm / 2x 5 mm of the profile. But only a 7 mm profile was new.
