Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 er et max performance sommerdæk, som i tests og brugeranmeldelser næsten ikke viser store svagheder. Dækket roses ofte for fremragende greb på tør og våd vej, korte bremselængder og forudsigelig køreadfærd, hvilket giver meget tillid ved højere hastigheder og i sving. Bilister sætter også pris på den gode komfort og det relativt lave støjniveau for et sportsdæk. Konstruktionen fordeler trykket i slidbanen effektivt, hvilket hjælper styrepræcisionen og giver rimelig rullemodstand. På minussiden nævner flere brugere, at dækket kan slide hurtigere end visse andre topmærker, og at vejstøjen øges, efterhånden som dækket bliver slidt. For førere, der prioriterer sportslige egenskaber og sikkerhed i regn, er det dog et meget stærkt valg.

Good road grip on dry roads better than many other grips, a bit too loud, 6mm as new and goes down quickly. Will probably not buy these tires again even though they deliver well the first year, they will not do so the following year as there will hardly be any tires left then. Good tires for those who need good tires that drive safely at high speeds but perhaps not for the everyday family with children who need good tires for a longer period.

I have had pirelli, conti's and recently a Dunlop sportmax in the past. This tire is the best I have ever driven under my car, especially in the rain very good feeling. In terms of wear, no idea, according to tire review better wear than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4, a brand that was always a leader in this and goodyear just not.

Great set of tyres. Put on all F1 Asymmetric 5's on all 4 corners after having the alloys refurbished was instantly noticeable in terms of traction. Power can actually now get to the floor.

Good level of grip, both dry and wet, but for me, the most remarkable (and unexpected) thing is its resistance to wear, even against tires with less grip. Although it has nothing to do with this, I must also highlight the after-sales service.

With an extreme driving style like mine I can only be satisfied with the compound of this tire that adapts to every situation at its best .. Goodyear for me is always a guarantee of performance .. I highly recommend them also for value for money.
