Pirelli Winter SottoZero 3 er et ultra high performance vinterdæk, som får megen ros for stærke præstationer på sne og is. Førere rapporterer høj trækkraft ved igangsætning, bremsning og stigninger i sne, mens dækket forbliver stabilt på våde veje og er forholdsvis modstandsdygtigt mod aquaplaning. For et vinterdæk er køreegenskaberne ved højere hastigheder og i sving bemærkelsesværdigt stramme, hvilket gør det populært til sportslige og tungere biler. Levetiden beskrives også ofte som god for denne type dæk. Samtidig nævner flere brugere, at støjniveauet er højere end hos visse rivaler, og at styreresponsen er mindre skarp end på sommer- eller rene performance-dæk. This is my 3rd set for good reason - They are fantastic. I have driven to the alps and back. During the 9hr drive I encountered sun, rain , heavy sleet, and a little snow. The tyres couldn’t have had a better test. They performed brilliantly. A very good all around WINTER tyre. They wear well under 12°C so make sure I change them and the temperature rises.

Cauciucurile nu au putut fi echilibrate nici după 3 încercări în 3 ateliere diferite . Cauciucurile produc o vibrație constantă în volan și pedala de accelerație și un crează un disconfort constant . O să înlocuiesc în iarna următoare categoric .

Compared with my previous Michelins, and the Pirelli summer tyres, these disappoint. No confidence in the snow and they felt unnatached in the wet.
