Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 SUV K127A er et ultra-high-performance sommerdæk til SUV’er og crossovers. Det er især kendt for stærkt vejgreb på våd vej og god modstand mod aquaplaning, blandt andet på grund af en speciel silica-blanding og vandafledende mønsterspor. Også i sving og ved højere hastigheder forbliver dækket stabilt og styrer præcist, hvilket mange førere sætter pris på på tungere SUV’er. Samtidig omtales modellen som relativt stille og komfortabel for et sportsligt dæk takket være den forstærkede, men fint afstemte karkasse. The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
