Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 er et ultra high performance sommerdæk, der især roses for sine stærke egenskaber på tør og våd vej. Det avancerede silica-blandingsforhold og de indgribende riller giver højt greb, korte bremselængder og stor stabilitet i sving, også ved høje hastigheder. The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
