Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 er et sportsligt sommerdæk med meget godt greb og korte bremselængder på både våde og tørre veje. Brugere og tests fremhæver især den stabile retningsstabilitet og præcise styrefølelse ved højere hastigheder, blandt andet takket være den avancerede silica-blanding og de interlockende riller. Samtidig er dækket relativt stille og komfortabelt for et ultra-high-performance dæk, med en fornuftig levetid. Til gengæld er det tydeligt et sommerdæk: ved lave temperaturer og i sne eller is falder grebet hurtigt. På meget dårlig vej kan dækket føles lidt hårdt og mindre raffineret, og der findes touringdæk, som er mere brændstoføkonomiske. For bilister, der vil køre aktivt og sikkert om sommeren uden helt at opgive komforten, er det dog et meget attraktivt valg.

The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).

Mycket tysta med låg förbrukning. Bilen går i 100 km/h med en förbrukning om 20,5 kWh/mil vilket är bra med 21" och 305 mm breda däck!
