Michelin Pilot Sport 3 er et high-performance sommerdæk, der får megen ros for stærkt greb og kort bremselængde, især på våd asfalt.[2][4][10] Takket være teknologier som Anti-Surf System-skulder og avanceret gummiblanding forbliver dækket stabilt ved høj fart og giver stor tillid i sving.[2][4][10] Førere værdsætter den direkte styring, præcise feedback og kombinationen af sportslige egenskaber og relativt lavt støjniveau sammenlignet med nogle andre UHP-dæk.[4][10] Test og produktdata fremhæver også god energieffektivitet og fornuftig levetid for et sportsdæk, bl.a. gennem Green Power Compound og Green-X-mærkning.[2][4] På minussiden rapporterer flere brugere, at slidbanen kan slides hurtigere end forventet ved dynamisk kørsel, så den reelle kilometerydelse kan være lavere end garantiens tal.[4][10] Som rent sommerdæk er Pilot Sport 3 heller ikke beregnet til lave temperaturer, sne eller is; under sådanne forhold falder grebet tydeligt, og vinter- eller helårsdæk anbefales.[2][4] Endelig ligger prisen i den øvre ende, hvilket især for storkørere kan være en ulempe.[2][4][10] For bilister, der prioriterer sportslig kørsel og maksimalt greb på vådt og tørt frem for længst mulig levetid eller lav indkøbspris, er det dog et meget attraktivt valg.

Michelin, forse per questi pneumatici ho pagato solo la marca, provenivo dai Primacy e, quelli andavano davvero BENE. I pilot 3 sono stati sempre mediocri, sia da nuovi, nulla di speciale, se frenavo interveniva prestissimo l'abs (cosa che non succedeva con quelli vecchi appena sostutuiti!!!!), in curva tenevano un po' ma poi tendevano a scivolare via senza mai un avviso, non hanno mai fischiato una volta, nemmeno guidando sportivamente. Forse sono sempre stati troppo duri, magari rispetto all'Ibiza TDi Sport, che magari è troppo leggera. Sono durati 50.000 km... ormai durissimi dopo anni e chiaramente sul bagnato ora vado molto, molto piano... Sopravvalutati e costosissimi...!!!

I really have to say that Michelin is highly recommended and exemplary in terms of mileage. I drove an unbelievable 53000 KM and could probably drive another 5000 KM if the winter season didn't come. Respect and keep it up Michelin! Are very expensive compared to the others but they do what they promise.

Very good service we had a problem with the delivery which did not take place (theft or wrong address I do not know but) but you were very responsive and I got my tires on time. was not disappointed and I recommend your site because the current situation is difficult for delivery people and the error is human

Excellent on dry roads, but "classic" wear ... plus the "myth" of longevity ..... on wet roads, fast aquaplaning ....
