Michelin CrossClimate+ 165/70 R14 85T XL er kendt som et meget sikkert helårsdæk med stærke præstationer på både tør og våd vej. Tests og brugeranmeldelser fremhæver kort bremselængde og stabil køreegenskab på tør asfalt kombineret med pålideligt greb i regn. Dækket er 3PMSF‑certificeret og dermed officielt godkendt til vinterbrug, og det klarer sig tydeligt bedre i sne end et rent sommerdæk. Mange førere roser også komforten, det relativt lave støjniveau og den lange levetid for et helårsdæk. Samtidig viser nyere test, at bremselængden på våd vej efterhånden kun er middel i forhold til de nyeste konkurrenter, og prisen ligger højere end mange andre helårsmuligheder. I hård sne og bjergforhold er et fuldt vinterdæk stadig bedre. For bilister i milde klimaer, der ønsker ét dæk til hele året, giver CrossClimate+ dog et attraktivt kompromis mellem sikkerhed, komfort og holdbarhed.

MOT rejected after 7 years of use. Reason: drought cracks up to the canvas in several places. Tires still had 3.6 to 3.8 mm profile. 2 front tires, front wheel drive, 90% highway kms, all cracks on the outer rim. Bizarre.

I didn't notice anything about "Energy Saving". The tire drives quite well, as you would expect from a premium manufacturer, and makes normal noises. After 20,000 km there were still 2x 6 mm / 2x 5 mm of the profile. But only a 7 mm profile was new.
