Philips Shaver 1000 S1142/00 giver en pålidelig, glat barbering med PowerCut-blade og er helt vandtæt, så rengøring er let. Det ergonomiske greb gør den behagelig, og den kan bruges til både ansigt og hoved. Mange brugere sætter pris på prisen. Ulemperne er en svag motor til tykt hår, lang opladningstid og mindre glat resultat end dyrere modeller. Kan ikke bruges under opladning. Godt valg til basisbehov, men ikke til dem der ønsker mere kraft.

I predominantly use this shaver for my head and I always have to do a wet shave using another brand three blade razor. I am experienced with electric shavers and this is the 1st phillips one I have bought. I have a number of electric shavers best in my opinion by far is the Remington, then the braun series 5, then the phillips, then last 2 being a platinum pro Pitbull and also a Baldy, which does not live up to its name.

It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.

CI can't fault the razor init's own right, but I do miss not having the side trimmer.
