This item worked ok the first day but now the receiver doesn’t seem to hear anything. I even plugged them in near each other so I could talk in the one and see if I could hear anything, it didn’t pick up anything. Very bad value, I would not recommend wasting your money on this.

I ordered this as a second monitor set. We have two bedrooms with children in it and already had the Vtech audio only monitor. From reading reviews adding a second in a one floor home would not work well, so we ordered these hoping it wouldn't cancle anything out and would work effectively. Unfortunately right out of the box it would not pick up anything from our toddlers bedroom. We left it, as occasionally it would pick up some sound but after one day I'm tossing it as I'm so frustrated in trying to figure it out. My toddler was screaming and crying this morning because I didn't hear her for God knows how long. 26 bucks completely wasted.

The beep, beep, beep beeping! NOTHING stops the two units from “searching” for me another- even when they are side by side. Incessant beeping. After-purchase, when searching for a solution to the beeping, I found 100s of reviewers who had the same issue, and like me, threw all purchased units in the garbage to get the beeping out of the house. Worse than a waste of money; a waste of money and ANNOYING.

This is the second one I ordered, the first didn’t work at all. They are being sold as new but both were sent in original box but not packaged as new so this is very misleading.
